Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, has signed up to produce a TV series based on The Kingkiller Chronicle authored by Patrick Rothfuss.

Aside from serving as the show's producer, Miranda will also compose and write music for the untitled TV project with an option to be involved in future stage adaptations as well.
No official plot details have been released, but it was reported to "expand on the world outside of the books." Miranda will also be involved in developing the characters and storyline of the project with Rothfuss.
