Luca James Lee and Siobhan Murphy (Murdoch Mysteries) have landed recurring role on the upcoming second season of The Bold Type.
Lee will play Ben, a potential love interest for Jane (Katie Stevens). Ben is a passionate young doctor with a successful practice that Jane crosses paths with and feels a spark. Murphy will portray Cleo, a new board member at the publishing company. She runs a digital empire as a relatable fitness guru, but is a force to be reckoned with. Jacqueline (Melora Hardin) will immediately reach out to Cleo once she comes on board.
In other Bold Type news, star Katie Stevens hinted in a report that the Fashion Closet will probably be MIA in the new season.
She told TV Guide:
They are going to be building Sutton and Jane's apartment as a set that we have on our stages so we will be spending a little more time there and that will be cool.
It'll be interesting to add a bit of tension because I think Jane is going to have some serious FOMO [fear of missing out] about not being in that closet.
Season 2 premieres June 12 on Freeform.
