The final season of Game of Thrones (premiering in April 14th) will feature even more epic sequences that will make Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton's epic battle scene in season 6 seem average.
Co-creators David Benioff and DB Weiss has shared the latest GoT scoop in a report.
“In terms of sheer scope, there is a lot in this season that outstrips the Battle of the Bastards sequence so expertly directed by Miguel Sapochnik,” they told THR.
“We can say this without feeling bad, since most of [Season 8] was also expertly directed by Miguel Sapochnik.”
In other Thrones news, Cersei actress Lena Headey dropped a teasing bit about her last filming day, telling Variety:
"My last day on set was really weirdly tedious because I just had to shoot going up and down these stairs and that was it," she teased.
BONUS SPOILER BITS:
* The run time of the final eight episodes have been rumored of being leaked online. According to EW, "the first two episodes of the season are 60 minutes each, and the final four episodes are 80 minutes each."
* The untitled prequel will begin production in early summer, said HBO boss Casey Bloys.
