Casting Bits: Keith Carradine returning on 'Big Bang Theory', 'The Blacklist' adds Ken Leung and more

Here are the latest additions to new and returning scripted shows we're covering on our site: 

The Fix (ABC)

Robert Wisdom (The Alienist) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming legal drama. 

Wisdom will play Buck Neal, an investigator who works closely with Ezra Wolf (Scott Cohen). 


The Big Bang Theory (CBS)

Keith Carradine will return as Penny's father, Wyatt in the final season. A CBS rep has confirmed the news to TV Line. 

An episode number and airdate are yet to be determined. 

The Blacklist (NBC)

Ken Leung (Lost) has joined season 6 in a recurring role. Details on his character are still being kept under wraps. 

Whiskey Cavalier (ABC)

Bellamy Young (Scandal) will guest star on the new fall drama starring Scott Foley. Director Peter Atencio broke the news on his Instagram.

For The People (ABC)

Charles Michael Davis (The Originals) has boarded Shonda Rhimes' legal drama as a new series regular.

Making his debut in the Season 2 premiere, Davis will play Ted, the new investigator in the Public Defender’s office.


Empire (FOX)

Singer Mario will recur on the hiphop drama's upcoming fifth season.

Mario will play the role of Devon, described by Fox as "an earnest, up-and-coming R&B singer who supports his ailing sister." Both the Empire label and Lyon Family Management are vying against each other to sign him. 


The Bold Type (Freeform)

Peter Vack and Alexis Floyd have landed recurring roles on the show's upcoming third season.

Patrick Duchand is Vack’s character, described as a magnetic, fearless, and whip-smart new staffer at Scarlet whose employment shakes things up. Alexis Floyd is Tia Clayton, a smart and driven campaign manager for a local city council candidate.
