Here we have the first look into season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, episode 01. This is clearly a behind the scenes photo featuring Elena looking very sultry. I spoiled yesterday that the season premiere will take place on Elena’s 18th birthday, so we can assume she’s ready to celebrate in style, but another possibility is of course, Katherine.
