As Damon gains humanity, Stefan… loses. And I’m guessing he loses not only his fancy ‘vegetarian vampire’ status, but also his place by Elena’s. Anyone want to audition for the role of Elena’s sidekick? Too bad, Damon’s won it.

Damon and Elena was always going to happen at some point. But I thought it would be more of a too-hot-to-keep-apart situation, while the producers are starting to spill that they’ll actually truly kinda sorta really love and understand each other. Sound like friendship to you?

We’ve barely recovered from the over-Christmas hiatus and already? Another one? Who came up with this winter finale idea? I’d like to know! On the upside, looks like The Vampire Diaries is set for renewal. Really, how could they not?

And that folks, is exactly what we don’t have to worry about since Nina Dobrev is a star, and there’s no way on earth the show is letting her go so soon. But you can still enjoy the delicious shiver of dread Damon’s words give you.

The Vampire Diaries continues on the getting better-and-better train with a new episode all about betrayal. Since this closes the tomb chapter, all our most recent questions should be wrapped up – but we’ll still be dying for more.
