Unlike with previous seasons (and mid-seasons), Secret Life won't be taking a break between its third and fourth seasons. Following its hard-hitting and emotional season 3 finale, "...Or Not To Be", the popular ABC Family show will head right on into its fourth season next Monday (June 13) with its premiere, "When One Door Opens".
Renewed for a fourth season early this year, Secret Life will definitely prove interesting now that the entire foundation of Ben and Adrian's relationship could come into question. Says Michael Riley, president of ABC Family, about the network's renewals:
“We’re incredibly excited to bring viewers new seasons of two of ABC Family’s most successful original series. Supported by incredibly talented casts and crews, ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’s’ Brenda Hampton has an unparalleled voice in speaking to today’s Millennials, and our partnership with Alloy Entertainment and Warner Horizon continues to deliver an engaging and heart-stopping show keeping ‘Pretty Little Liars’ audiences on the edge of their seats.”
What do you guys think of the no-break between seasons 3 and 4? Excited that we don't have a wait, or is it feeling just a little strange? Or maybe a little of both. Sound off in the comments with what you expect to see (or not see) in season 4.
