True Blood's Showrunner Steps Down

True Blood is in for another showrunner change. Mark Hudis who replaced Alan Ball last May stepped down as True Blood's season 6 showrunnner last week.

"Mark Hudis has stepped down as showrunner of True Blood to focus on development under his overall deal with the network,” an HBO spokesperson said.

Hudis will be replaced by writer-producer Brian Buckner, who has been apart of True Blood's production since its first season.

Buckner's credits include "The Class","Friends" and "Joey".
