So even more True Blood Season 5 spoilers for you True fans!
On this Sunday’s Episode
Meloni’s Vampire Authority bigwig turns up this Sunday. As does Cougar Town‘s Carolyn Hennesy, who plays one of his half-dozen chancellors. “We are really trying to decide the fate of vampires all over the world: mainstreaming versus non-mainstreaming,” Hennesy explains. “The buck stops with us and there are those interested in following one path and those interested in another, so there’s some definite in-fighting between us.”
Sookie and Lafayette will certainly have their hands full this week, but lest we forget, Pam is her maker, albeit begrudgingly. Still, there may be opportunities for Tara to find allies in the vampire world. They may have been sparring in Sunday’s promo, but Jessica and Tara (Rutina Wesley)could find a friendship. “Jessica is very lonely,” Deborah Ann Woll tells us. “She’s looking everywhere she can for someone to understand her and maybe there’s an opportunity there with Tara.”
Tara was either punching people or crying as a human now she’s been given the opportunity to become a bipolar vamp, Sookie and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) will have their hands full getting her on the vampire lithium, assuming Tara doesn’t kill one or both of them first.
According to a recent EW with Ryan Kwanten:
“Jason’s going to be lucky to survive. In fact, he may not survive this season,” he teases. “It’s been a rather brutal season for Jason.”
According to EW
We will meet all the members of surprisingly religious-leaning Authority, finally. And while not initially the most menacing—besides that whole shootout thing—their methods of extracting information should be quite persuasive. Think you are most looking forward to seeing Chris Meloni as a vampire? Another Authority member is played by Christopher Heyerdahl. You might recognize him as The Swede from AMC’s Hell on Wheels. He scares us in all the best ways.
Tina Majorino the Veronica Mars alumna and current Bones co-star has booked a recurring gig on True Blood‘s upcoming fifth season.
She’ll play a key member of the Vampire Authority’s support staff who first appears in Episode 3, which is scheduled to air June 24.
So werewolves don’t start out as snarling biker gang members. They have seedy childhoods, get tattoos and, of course, all start out as cute little pups. Next episode we will meet the most adorable of tiny werewolves. Seriously cute and possibly a huge complication when it comes to keeping her away from an unwanted pack.
Bonus Spoiler: Ever wonder how Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) started their partnership? We’ll get to flashback to Pam’s life pre-vamp in 1905 San Francisco. And Eric wears a top hat.
