True Blood Season 4: What We Know So Far

True Blood Season 4: What We Know So Far

Some True Blood Season 4 spoilers are already coming out. Below you can find everything we know so far about season 4, hopefully more to come later this week ...

Ausiello tells us that Hallow Stonebrook will be part of True Blood season 4. For those unfamiliar with the books, Hallow is a witch (or “necromancer” as Alan calls her) who is involved in a witch war that leads to a spell being cast on Eric which is a life-changing event for him and for Sookie.

Hallow is described as a tall, slim brunette.

In season four there will be witches and some of the characters we’ve known all along will have powers that maybe they didn’t even know about. That’s where it gets fun storytelling-wise because you have so many doors to open.

Holly Cleary (Lauren Bowles ) has been cast with an option of being a series regular in True Blood season 4. In the books she is a witch.

Kristin got some information about Joe Manganiello, Kevin Alejandro, Marshall Allman, Lauren Bowles and Denis O’Hare. She also got some information about who will be returning in season 4. Here's what she says:

Dennis is set to return to the HBO hit next year, according to sources, but don’t expect to see Russell too early in the year. We have it on good authority (Alan Ball’s) that initially witches will reign supreme, but I’m told the plan is for Russell to reappear later in the season.

As for Lafayette’s lover, Jesus (Kevin Alejandro), Nelsan tells me, “We’re partners in crime now, my boy toy, so he will be back.” Adds Kevin with a knowing grin: “I’m hearing rumors about that, too. I’ve never been a part of anything this big before.”

Sam’s wayward little bro isn’t going anywhere either, although he’s mastered the tease.

When asked if he’ll be back, Marshall told me: “Yeah, I am. But I mean, hey! How do you know?! Come on, now! Spoiler alert!” We’ll take that as a big, fat, yessiree!

And rounding out the ranks as a newly minted series regular (she told us herself after hitting up the Emmys with her sister Julia Louis-Dreyfus—yep, that one!) is Lauren, who recently joined the show as resident Wiccan Holly.

True Blood season 4 will begin production early next year in Los Angeles, with debut set for summer 2011.
