On the said episode, things began to turn into a more darker scenery between the survivors in the prison and the people inside of Woodbury. The abduction of Glenn and Maggie tied with Michonne finding the prison marks the imminent clash that's about to shock all fans of The Walking Dead series.
Merle, on the hopes of finding his long-lost brother Daryl captured and tortured Glenn; while the Governor after screwing with Andrea, threatened to rape Maggie.
Michonne, on the other hand, finally reached a destination where she finally feels a more trusting vibe. After passing out in the middle of hungry walkers outside the prison, Rick and Carl rescued her before she bleeds out to death. After a series of quid pro quos, Rick learned about the situation of Glenn and Maggie eventually leading them to sneak in inside the faux-blissful Community of Woodbury.
Back in Woodbury, Merle failed to make Glenn fold as he persistently refused to give any information that will lead him to the younger Dixon. So to make ends meet for the Governor, he went inside Maggie's holding room and mandated her to strip -- which sorta brought a porno dominating feel. The governor should probably participate in Fifty Shades of Grey walkers edition.
Maggie, now violated and sobbing, stick to her guns and did not utter a word. However, she eventually cracked when the opposing team of Woodbury pointed a gun to Glenn's head.
What can fans expect on the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead season 3? How will the impending conflict jeopardize the already weakened team of the prison? Keep reading for the bloody spoilers I rounded-up from the said interviews with Robert Kirkman.
"She doesn't know a lot of their names yet and she's not aware of that yet." says Kirkman. But when asked if Michonne can eventually solve that puzzle piece by piece, he assures that " Oh yeah. All that is going to be coming together very quickly."
Kirkman on Merle & Daryl's reunion --
One of the main reasons of the clash was due to Merle's search for Daryl. Might that be a reason for the governor to trust him less? Kirkman tells fans that the governor is definitely considering that fact, Merle is not all evil as what he seems. He still has a weakness and that is his want to reunite with his younger brother.
Now that he knows that there's this chink in Merle's armor, this weakness, he now knows that his brother is alive and is out there and that's something that's distracting him.
This is the apocalypse not rainbowland --
And if may some of you wonder if there will be bodies to get buried next week, Kirkman reminds fans that as long as we're watching The Walking Dead, we should not expect a musical number where both teams hold hands and sing their hearts out.
I certainly wouldn't expect everyone to get out of this coming confrontation completely unscathed. As far as how many people or if anyone is going to die, that remains to be seen.
