AMC Cancels ‘The Killing’ After Three Seasons

The network has officially cancelled the murder-mystery drama after three seasons. The show’s most recent season finale delivered up to par numbers, targeting 1.5 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating.

“We have made the difficult decision not to move forward with a fourth season of The Killing,” read the network’s official statement. “We want to thank our great partners at Fox Television Studios, creator Veena Sud, an extraordinary cast and the dedicated fans who watched.”
