Much like season one, Ryan and Joe will once again come face-to-face, however both alphas might not emerge alive. In fact, there are multiple possibilities to end this season's intense ride, but one thing is certain and that is that The Following's season 2 finale will be beyond shocking.

"I want to kill him. … My job is clear: I'm fighting him so that I can once and for all put him in the ground, and I don't care what that's going to take." That said, even Bacon isn't sure how their final showdown is going to play out. "We've actually shot a couple of different endings," he admits. " One certainty: As Joe turns his attention to his new target, Pastor Kingston Tanner, his actions will keep fans' eyes popping — as long as they're not too scared to cover them. "You think… 'What would possibly be shocking at this point?'" Bacon teases. "But the finale definitely goes there."
