Mark Sheppard’s new spoiler scoop for Season 7 should make Crowley fans very happy. First off, the actor is very excited by the prospect of seeing more of Crowley in the upcoming season:

“Sera [Gamble] said that what Cas has said about this demon was going to be explored at some point, and that she has plans for this demon. But who knows?”

Sheppard also likes that the show is going back to basics and returning to a focus on character development:

“It’s going back to what made the show so popular. You’ve had these big, angels and demons wars, and the devil, and death. These things will obviously continue on in some way, but the root of it is Dean and Sam and I think it’s fascinating. It’s very much back to the root element.”

He hinted that this “root element” might result in more screen time for his popular demon:

“It’s a lot of fun when Crowley is connected to the boys in a lot of ways. The fans have enjoyed that connection. They do well in that situation. It always pays off very well. I’m looking forward to seeing whether that happens or not.”

Good article, I like what Mark Shepard said about character development and getting back to basics. Season 7 is going to be a fan favourite

I’m not happy about Cas not being in many episodes, he is/was a great regular!

  • Ray

I agree 100%.  Cas is the best and I think that is why they are limiting his appearances. Fans were looking forward to Cas more than Sam and Dean.
