NBC’s hit show Smash has once again cast another actor for its season 2, programmed to air in mid-season only.
- Andy Mientus will play the role of Kyle, a writer from Brooklyn whose dream it is to join a Broadway production
- Kyle will be Jeremy Jordan’s new character Jimmy’s best friend.
- Mientus is best-known for his role in Spring Awakening, an Off-Broadway revival of Carrie.
