In last night's Pretty Little Liars Halloween special, 'A' kicked Garrett (Yani Gellman) out of the picture for good in the creepiest of ways (now we know what that box spoiler was all about...). But at least we got to hear what he had to say to Spencer (Troian Bellisario), right?
In his post-TV death interview with TV Guide, Yani Gellman brought up an interesting point about Ali's death:
"Now that the Liars know Garrett wasn't behind the crimes he was accused of, the question becomes, 'Who is?'"
Who is, indeed. Along with Garrett's death, a few other bombshells were dropped during "This is a Dark Ride". The creepy, Alison-like girl-ghost Ashley Marin saw in the house; the body bag stored in the ice on the Ghost Train; the hand popping up out of the dirt at the end; and the reveal that Aria's dad, Byron and Alison had some interaction around the time of her "death".
Clues are starting to beg the question if Alison is really dead, and for those of you PLL fans that have read the books, you know of the possibility that her twin, Courtney could be written into the show.
We sure know Garrett's dead for sure though, were you shocked? And will you be missing one of Rosewood's "finest" when season 3 picks back up in January?
Although Yani did say that showrunner, Marlene King told him there's always a possibility of Garrett showing up in flashbacks in the future - leaving us to wonder if Garrett's story here isn't exactly finished. Tyler Blackburn (Calbe) said in a Wetpaint Entertainment exclusive that the death does leave things wide open for other storyline possibilities.
