This Sunday Once Upon A Time will showcase the much anticipated showdown between the Wicked Witch and Regina, executive producer Edward Kitsis says.
"We will find out why the witch is green and what she really wants."
In other Regina news, Kitsis spoils that now that the Evil Queen knows Robin is her long lost soulmate that could have been, she will be keeping the handsome thief at arm's length.
Once cocreator Eddy Kitsis says, “Regina has a very hard time being happy. It frightens her. And she has spent so much time suppressing things, that when she faces them she’s not sure how to react. So for us, its about wanting to explore when and how will Regina open her heart, and to whom.”
And what about those magic lessons for Emma?!
“That is definitely something that comes up,” says Jennifer Morrison, who describes the Emma/Regina scenes as both “fun” and “interesting.” As she points out, “Regina’s a bit annoyed because Emma wasn’t really into learning magic in Neverland, so there’s some banter back and forth about my ‘reluctance’ to be magical.” But with a Wicked Witch on the loose and Henry in a partially amnesic limbo, “Emma has that extra motivation to reach into place in herself that she’s not necessarily comfortable with.”
