Once Upon A Time has plotted an ending for Hook that will see his relationship with Rumple "come full circle," star Colin O'Donoghue has revealed in an interview.
Speaking with EW, the actor said:
Without giving anything away, we see that Rumplestiltskin decides to do something to help Hook, and it’s a massive, massive, massive sacrifice for him. In the context of the relationship that they’ve had, I mean, these guys spent hundreds of years trying to kill each other, and that’s such a huge thing. For me, it helps that relationship really come full circle. You see hundreds of years of this thing that has been bubbling underneath just come together. It’s a very special moment.
On Regina's arc, star Lana Parilla has addressed whether or not fans will see her charcacter get closure with the return of Robin. She teased:
Yes and no.
It’s not so much closure. There’s a really beautiful moment that they share, but he represents a figure in her life when they come together. It’s interesting how they come together, it’s not at all what you think.
Cast describes series finale "Leaving Storybrooke"
Well, I would definitely say the last episode is as epic as probably any episode that Once Upon a Time has ever done. I mean, it’s massive, it’s huge. It’s like taking the best of all seasons and jamming it into one — literally.
Dania Ramirez (Cinderella):
It’s epic. Again, I’m gonna give tribute to the creators for being able to tackle all the different realms and all the different characters that have touched peoples’ souls from season 1 to season 7. Even being a part of the show, and being a fan of the show before I became part of the show, I think it’s bittersweet. You get to see all the characters that you have fallen in love with all in one room for one last time. That’s beautiful. But for Ella, to be honest with you, if I could have had a couple of more family members, that would have been nice.
Andrew J. West (Henry):
The finale is maybe the single most massive episode that the show has ever done, and I mean that in all sincerity. I mean, the amount of characters that we’re going to see in the series finale, the amount of characters that stretch back to the pilot that have been a part of the show since day one, the amount of locations, the adventure, the villain that rears their head toward the end there that needs to be vanquished, all of it is absolutely epic, and massive, and exciting. And it’s some of the best stuff that the show has ever done.
And finally, here's the latest cryptic tease dropped by EP Adam Horowitz:
Sheriff Henry, unexpected pacifier.
