Didn’t think it was possible, but things are about to get even crazier on New Girl this season. Showrunner, Liz Meriwether shared some spoilers with TVLine about upcoming new episodes – that will really start delving into the relationships of the show, namely how Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) feel about each other.
- “Nick and Jess will finally start ‘dealing with their feelings for each other,’ reveals series creator Liz Meriwether. ‘And that ends up complicating’ their respective relationships with Angie and Sam.
- “Schmidt, meanwhile, will undermine CeCe’s efforts to find a mate. ‘He’s trying to figure out how to live in a world where he doesn’t have CeCe,’ says Meriwether, ‘wherever that should take him.’ (It’ll take him into the arms of actress-model Brooklyn Decker, who will guest-star in early 2013.)
- “Lastly, Winston will embark on a new romance with Disney Channel starlet Brenda Song. ‘She’s going to give him some tough love,’ says the EP. ‘We thought it would be fun if he had a girlfriend that was kind of like a coach.’”
