The team of Special Agent Jethro Gibbs is certain to be back for more naval investigations on NCIS season 10. This news, which is no surprise to all of us was formally announced by CBS on March 14,2012. The same situation goes for the show's spin-off series, NCIS: Los Angeles.
Carrying the label of "America's Most Favorite TV Show", NCIS is unquestionably a top-asset of the network. The show continues to entertain viewers on its Tuesday nights timeslot, consistently ranking as the first pulling down the Fox musical series, Glee.
"The JAG spinoff continues to be the No. 1 scripted show on television, averaging a 3.4 in the demo and 17.7 million viewers so far this season." a claim supported by The Hollywood Reporter on May 14.
The top-rated show is now working on its main cast contract issues. TV Line reported last May 2, that the series regulars, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette and Sean Murray have not yet upped for another contract negotiation. But not to worry because TV Line interviewed the show runner Gary Glasberg. And as he noted that the CBS handles all the legal transactions, he continued with the statement -- "While I and the writers handle the creative side of things, I have no doubt that it will all work out.”
As for the series front man Mark Harmon's case, TV Line additionally stated that "Series front man Mark Harmon, along with Cote de Pablo, re-upped with the hit show a year ago, as their respective deals drew to a close."
The numbers still are unbeatable and the cast still blows us away. Need I say more? Congratulations, perhaps. Send your support for NCIS season 10. Hit our very free comment boxes below!
