On Friday, the The Tennessean has reported that film crews of ABC's musical Nashville will stage "a small explosion", that will be featured in the season one finale.
The creators have sent a letter to the residents informing that the shooting process will take place at the intersection of Granny White Pike and Battlefield Drive on Tuesday, April 30. In addition, the shoot will last from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and require that the Granny White/Battlefield intersection be completely shut down to accommodate shooting a stunt.
Here's a couple of statements from the producers:
“(W)e will need to use a special effect that will create a small explosion. It will be fairly loud.
Normally we are open to passersby watching us film. In this case, it will not be safe to be anywhere near this filming and we respectfully request that you stay clear of the area.”
