Phil’s (Ty Burrell) birthday’s up ahead for the Modern Family clans, and Claire (Julie Bowen) is pulling out all the stops this time (remember Valentine’s Day…not to mention their anniversary). Though this time, it is something a little bit more…advanced?
Modern Family’s all new this Wednesday (March 24), and we’re sure to get “choked up”. With laughter, of course. “It’s okay honey, ‘mother’ is part of the word. You never hear of anyone being sfathered to death.”
It’s time for some good ol’ fashioned family bonding…time. I found some promotional photos for you, for this week’s new episode of Modern Family, episode 18 “Starry Night”….
I recently bought the latest issue of TV Guide because of the cover story on Modern Family. Yep. That’s how much of a fan I am. Not only that, but they also made the magazine’s special “Top 50 Families” section.
In the first season of Modern Family, we’ve heard hints here and there about Cameron’s (Eric Stonestreet) former farm-raised days, and now in the upcoming second season we’ll finally get to meet the Tuckers. And Eric’s looking toward Delta Burke as one possibility:
You know how it goes, What doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger. At least that’s what Jay tries to get Manny to believe, after an unfortunate turtle accident. But Manny’s not buying it. “But it’s not true. Lots of stuff that doesn’t kill you makes you weaker. My friend’s grandfather had a heart attack, now he needs a machine to breathe.”
Phil’s old high school flare is back in the house…and it’s Judy Greer! I’d stick around to say more, but these spoilers have been a long time coming, so – see for yourself in the promotional photos below….
According to Manny, “The universe is cold and love-less.” Despite this SAD view, Valentine’s Day is here, and everybody’s got a plan for love. Jay – to take Gloria out for a romantic evening going to see…a comedian.
Take a trip with me back to a month or so ago, when we first found the casting call spoiler for this particular episode. In my head I kept guessing at the comedian they were looking to cast for Jay and Gloria’s “romantic” Valentine’s outing. No more guessing now. It’s David Brenner.
I think you are simply going to *heart* this oh-so-special Valentine’s episode of Modern Family. Scratch that. I know you’re going to love it. It’s going to have those chocolatey-sweet moments…but also those moments that, like flowers sometimes will, cause you sneezing fits.
