According to Manny, “The universe is cold and love-less.” Despite this SAD view, Valentine’s Day is here, and everybody’s got a plan for love. Jay – to take Gloria out for a romantic evening going to see…a comedian.

Take a trip with me back to a month or so ago, when we first found the casting call spoiler for this particular episode. In my head I kept guessing at the comedian they were looking to cast for Jay and Gloria’s “romantic” Valentine’s outing. No more guessing now. It’s David Brenner.

I think you are simply going to *heart* this oh-so-special Valentine’s episode of Modern Family. Scratch that. I know you’re going to love it. It’s going to have those chocolatey-sweet moments…but also those moments that, like flowers sometimes will, cause you sneezing fits.

Got a big spoiler for you guys – one hinted at by Eric Stonestreet (Cameron) a few posts ago. Remember the “Hawaii” hinting? Yep, that’s right, the whole Modern Fam-damily is heading to Hawaii for a little vacation time.

I bet you’re wondering, what the heck is “4 1/2″ sneak peeks? How can you have “half” of a sneak peek? A non-embeddable sneak peek. Ah….

Manny’s dad, Javier might be off galavanting with the pirates (well, at least in his mind), but Luke’s got this one over on Manny for once – because he’s going treasure hunting with good ol’ dad! Underneath…the house. Leave it to Phil.

Remember back when Mitchell was so worried about Lily scooting and crawling? Then he stole the “intellectual property” of the kid next to him. Hahaha…good times.

If you’ve been heading over here for casting call spoilers, this episode might ring more of a bell as “Dog Story”. All I can think of is ABC must be juggling episode numbers/titles around. So we’ll see come episode 14 if they’re really one and the same….
