Proms on television are always fun episodes, and our lil family that could shows up at winter formal: for the first time since Baze knocked Cate up. Funny thing is, now they’re petrified that the quarterback is going to knock their daughter up. Ironic, hmm?
Lux & Jones dance cutely while Bug makes an appearance with some serious flowers, and Baze, Cate, and Math attempt to chaperone (really they’re just working through their own issues). All at the winter formal where our little family that could began, so many years ago… spoilers ahead, in some seriously cute promo prom pictures.
In these spoiler laden clips, Jones asks Lux to prom, Math freaks Baze out by reminding him that Cate (also a good kid) got knocked up on prom night, and Baze freaks Jones out by reminding him that girls can get pregnant and come after him with sticks that they “peed on”. His words.
Ryan’s getting around this week as these photos show a heart-to-heart with Lux, and what appears to be another heart-to-heart… with Baze. Go figure.
Lux squashes the Bug by going on a date with Jones, the BMOC, and The Love Triangle that’ll never die (Ryan-Cate-Baze) is just an unfortunate situation all round.
This week all the cool kids are hangin’ out at the car dealership, unaverting any crises that probably should be averted. By that I mean Cate, Baze, Ryan, Lux, and various hangers-on are running pell-mell into spilling secrets and poking noses into places that they don’t belong…
Baze gets oh so cutely insecure as Ryan & Cate vie to be Lux’s own little family, and ends up battling out these feelings with Ryan in a competition for a car. In a secondary storyline, Lux battles to keep Tasha around, instead of a few hours away in a new foster home.Better than the Tabasco loving group home, no ?
Lots of drama this week on Life Unexpected, as Ryan gets punchy with the father of his girlfriend’s child and Lux gets overly involved in her best friend’s personal life.
How in the world does Lux get away with having a drunken high school party in her dad’s bar? And how in the world is Cate okay with it? And what do turtles have to do with anything?
There’s something about the spiderweb tattoo on Bug’s neck that makes me giggle. Maybe because he’s the most harmless ‘bad’ boy to ever walk the earth? (A shaved head and a leather jacket do not a bad boy make.)
