Homeland frontman, Damien Lewis, has recently extended his contract for five more years — Daily Mail reports.
Currently, the Emmy-winning series is airing its sophomore season but with this major development it could mean that Brody and Carrie would continue chasing each other until the seventh season.
However, it could go that way or another, as a source from the report clarified with this statement –
‘There is no Homeland without Damian. It was crucial for the producers to secure him. It doesn’t necessarily mean there will be five more series, but it gives them the option.’
Additionally, fellow Brit David Harewood, who plays David Estes, has also signed for another 5 years.
‘Homeland’ airs every Sunday on Showtime.
