An old adversary soon will resurface in Memphis — and playing the recurring role will be Camille Sullivan, spoiler below:
- Sullivan will make her debut in the freshman drama’s 19th episode. The delicious backstory: Years ago, Emily was wed to football coach Red Raymond (played by Jeff Hephner) — until a certain cheer-happy coed named Vanessa (Sharon Leal) came back-handspringing into their life. Blaming Vanessa for the bust-up of her marriage, Emily wastes no time getting in her foe’s face and starting in on a bid for payback.
- Vanessa will be hard-pressed to evade her enemy, seeing as Emily isn’t simply passing through town. Rather, she’s now a bigwig at Lancer U.!
TV Guide is also reporting that Nastia Liukin, the 2008 Olympic gold medalist, will guest-star in an upcoming episode of the cheerleading series Hellcats.
- The 21-year-old Russian-born American gymnast will play herself. She’ll introduce the Hellcats’ performance at a fundraiser.
