  • lilgirl

omg did someone say stop with the homosexual crap. I can’t believe people that hate so much like you still exist in this world. Talk about evil much!!! You must not have any love in your life, and that’s sad!! Calzona all the way!!!

  • Guest249

Loved everything about this episode- Do these writers know how to put together an intense emotional episode, or what?!?!

Must say, I was terrified when Calle started with the old theme music that it was the end of the series-thank god it isn’t!

  • Logemarie

this is the most stupid comment I’ve ever read!
I’m not even gay, but I enjoy seeing Arizona & Callie, they’re cute & passionate,

this is extremely hateful. you should never judge someone else. Just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean you should say hurtful words. I am positive that there are people who probably won’t approve of somethings you say, but do you see them posting hateful on public walls? Do not discriminate against homosexuals; that is unbelievably wrong of you. Homosexuals are not the problem, it is the men and women jumping into marriages then divorcing; the rates of divorce is over 40% between men and women not homosexuals. my two best friends are gay and that is wrong of you to judge. My two friends are better at commitment until half of the heterosexual couples.

The show was amazing and was powerful. They did the musical beautifully and the emotion was moving. Callie and Arizona are such a great couple. This episode was wonderful.

  • Ahagar364

I dont think arizona and callie are good together (not because they are gay) because arizona always ends up hurting callie in some way or another and I am sick and tired of it. She is so inmature the only reason why she asked callie to marry her is because she is insecure about mark. Callie deserves better.

  • Mch_04262003

It is sad that so many people are homophobic. Please do not watch Grey’s Anatomy if you are scared of people that are Gay. This is a show that has an aspect of real life – get over yourself.

  • lesmom

I think it is sad that there are still so many ignorant people out there. I think the writers have created characters very indicative of the times. Calzona is an awesome couple facing real life issues. I am gay and in a long time relationship and have 2 kids. I have been involved with that bi-sexual person who went back and ultiimately settled for the man. So I can understand why Arizona would want the committment of marriage. I have also been a relationship with someone who went to the peace corps and left me. All of these things happen in real life. People who are homophobic just need to accept that this is the way the world is today and they aren’t going to change it.

People who disagree with the gay story line have as much right to their opinion and the right to express it as anyone else – WITHOUT the kind of BS that has been posted below. There are those who believe that homosexuality is wrong and I’m sure these more conservative people are among the audience watching the show. Someone posted about the divorce rate among heterosexual couples – l hate to burst your bubble but gay couples “divorce” too. Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Michaels, Rosie O’Donnel and Kelly, etc. There have been numerous articles in newspapers all over the country and segments on legitimate news shows regarding how gay couples divorce when the state they live in doesn’t recognize gay marriage.

Everybody here has jumped on the first poster saying people should be more tolerant, should be accepting of those who are different, etc. Maybe all of you should be more tolerant, as well, of someone whose ideas and beliefs, however much you may disagree with them, are different than yours.

I personally don’t care about gay versus straight, but I don’t watch Grey’s as I’m sick of the callie and arizona show, too. GA has become almost exclusively about them and they get the lion’s share of the story writing and air time. Callie is a female version of Mark – when things don’t go right in her life, she screws somebody else, yet she gets none of “dressing down” that Mark gets. As a viewer – and I’m 55, not a teenager – I’ve always thought Mark and Lexie had more of “MFEO” than callie and arizona ever did and they have a big fan base but they’ve gotten more “apart” time and more grief than anyone. Even Meredith and Derek have taken a back seat to c and a and enough is enough. Even if sexual orientation is taken completely out of the picture, callie and arizona need to be taken out of the picture a little bit, too, and some life and air time given to some of the other couples.

Thank you. That was very well said. I laugh when I read some of their comments. Like hating gay people. I happen to have gay friends and they know how I feel and think about it. They have no problem with me or how I think. We are good friends. One assumes I have no love in my life. I thought that wasfunny too. yoyr reply was very well written and shows your kindness towards all, even those that disagree I also do not judge them, God will do the judging.

  • Jennifer

Whatever happens, someone is going to complain. They can’t please everyone. I am a straight female and LOVE the idea of Callie and Arizona.. It isn’t about them being lesbians it is about two people in love.

I love the amount of air time they are getting, they both a really worthy actors and deserve it. Personally I think it is fresh to focus on people for vaired times. Mer/Der were the main focus… and I am gonna put it out there.. I got so sick of them! I actually only started watching Grey’s again (after George died I stopped) and the only reason I do watch it, is to see this relationship blossum even further. I love it :)

  • Taylor.

callie and arizona got this episode because of Sara Ramirez’s Amazing voice. And i think it’d be a bit random if they started singing out of nowhere- it’s the producers setting up a storyline. I’m pretty sure they’re not the first couple to get an insane amount of airtime, I think the fact that they’re gay just makes it more noticeable.

  • Kprstarz

Wow I never thought about it from that angle but you could be right!

  • Ashyluvsmarties

ok no one has talked about the next episode. #

whats gonna happen to the baby, why is everyone runnning and worried.

and what did meredith steal from the pharmacy.

why is it not being aired until 38th of april. im sick of this waiting

  • Ashyluvsmarties

    sorry the 28th *typo

  • Flynnbaby69er

Comments that people have made about your post are most likey based on your tone. I believe everyone is entitled to there opinion but there is no need to be nasty – say your piece by all means but mind how you say it!! Nothing is crap about homosexuality as there is nothing crap about hetrosexuality…both are just two people who love each other and have exactly the same emotions regardless to the sex. I think GA portrays both relationships well and for the record, Callie & Arizona get way less air time than other couples, well, granted they have had more in season 7 but thats the way the story goes…homosexuals go through the motions as much as hetrosexuals and GA are right to show us that – its educational for those who are not so tolerant. As for God judging, I think he’ll have far more things to worry about than two people who love one another……

Suppose then that a certain person has the opinion that black people are inferior and decides to express it by making the following comment: “wish they would stop with the black doctors crap on greys”. Would that be ok? It is just an opinion, even though it is racist and hateful. Therefore, according to your ideas, people should be tolerant towards that opinion and accept it. Right?

I believe that if a person’s opinion is insulting or can be hurtful towards somebody, then it falls under the category of intolerant opinions. Thus, anyone who criticizes said opinion is just promoting tolerance towards the first group of people that was offended. Of course it is not correct to impose our opinions on others. But every decent person believes that it is wrong to be racist and even worst to act on it. So why is it ok to be homophobic and act on it? Clearly the first comment was hurtful towards homosexuals, even if that might not be the intention. I mean, just like black people like to see black characters on television, gay people want the same kind of opportunity to relate.

The world is so full of hate. People attack each other based on race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. For me it is all the same and it is all wrong. All those who bother to speak against such behaviors are promoting tolerance and should continue to do it.

  • http://profiles.google.com/francisquinha Ângela Cardoso

So, you are saying that your gay friends have no problem with the fact that you “wish they would stop with the homosexual crap on greys”. Really?! I find that very hard to believe, specially if you say it exactly that way. Do you also tell them that they should cut all their homosexual crap in your presence? And if you do, are they also ok with that? After all, they have no problem with the way you think…

  • Anonymous

My last reply as I am not going to continue a silly argument about a comment I made. There is nothing to argue about and I do not have to justify what I think any more than others. Believe what you want but don’t worry to much as stress is bad for us all.

  • Anonymous

I am wondering too. It sort of looked like the baby didn’t make it. Then again they were to do surgery. Hope we know on the next show and don’t have to wait for more. Hope the baby is safe and okay.

  • Intolerant 2.0

“intolerant opinions?” who’s to judge what’s intolerant or not? Please remember and respect that America allows freedom of speech. If you’re searching for less free thought, consider relocating to another country – perhaps you’ll discover utopia there.

  • Lasmiley_chola

IF U DONT LIKE IT STOP WATCHING IT. THANKS!:)

    ?????????? ????? !!!!

  • NavyGirl25

I disagree.. I think Arizona has made a lot of compromises.. It’s taken some getting used to for her, because this wasn’t how she expected her life to be.. She’s slowly begun to see things from Callie’s perspective and she’s definitely not as unyielding as she used to be, and I think that’s an important development in any relationship… When Arizona was arguing with Mark about whether or not to save the baby, you could tell that she was really thinking about what Callie would want, instead of thinking about herself or trying to spite Mark.. I give Arizona a lot of credit for accepting a difficult situation because she loves Callie and nothing else matters.

  • yeayea

    homophobe.

  • Sly9002

I love Grey’s whichever way the serve it!! Different is good and though straight, I think its about time all accept that gays are here to stay and life has to go on! Grey’s different and different is good…we are bored of the same old same old.

  • Sparty

Too bad that’s a big part of society today…if you don’t like it then stop watching. But it’s going to be the next big movement in America.

Seriously guys? Come on its a show!! It needed something different, I think Callie & Arizona are a really cute couple, they are my favorite couple on Grey’s & I am straight! Its a great show, you either like it or you don’t. Simple.

  • Harshanr

the cast and crew know what they are doing. all comments/suggestions are utter crap. everyone has had atleast one same-sex encounter in their life. will you start hating your dad/mom for that? ))o

  • David

dude, im sure it is not about gay vs straight, it is about someone voicing a stupid comment when and where it should not be. They are lesbians, so what? it’s not what he said, because has a right to believe what they want, it is that he posted it and can offend many ppl. That is what i think many ppl are trying to say. Im not gay but I even take offense to the comment, it is uncalled for and very rude. I think the cast and storyline is great, the episode was great also. I just think some ppl get to involved in their beliefs (religious and personal)

  • David

Ok, but I didnt see anyone posting anything about derek and meridith in the first 5 seasons where the episodes where primarily about them, no, lets say it now when someone is getting annoyed with too much “lesbian” airtime, it is really a joke, it is just a season, and next season, they will probably focus on another couple just like they always do, but really, do you need to whine about callie and arizona getting too much airtime?????? They make the storyline great with their roles and attitudes. I have watched every episode excluding the 7th season like twice in succession. I dont think they get enough airtime. Wow

  • David

yes, freedom of speech is a great thing, but when does it go too far, ppl do have the right to say what they want but they should also consider what they say before they say it and what it could mean to someone else that reads it. they often do not do that before they post something like this, they just want to say dumb stuff and voice an opinion that they shouldnt vocalize. they are nice for you to have but think about other ppl before you post comments of that nature. Thats all.

  • David

    excellently put, thank you!

  • Liek

    Thank you!

  • 007blue-eyes

I’m not bashing homosexuals, I have a few great friends who have chosen the lifestyle. My only concern is that society is leaning towards it on shows, etc. to create diversity because they think it’s the way to go. I believe that everything should be looked at with objective eyes as everyone is the same and equal and deserve a chance in life. But I feel it’s not equal anymore. I’m straight and getting sort of jealous that the homosexuals are getting all the attention in the shows or their opinions are mattering more than all of us other people over here. No it shouldn’t be looked at through heterosexual eyes completely, but it would be nice to go back to a balance of both orientations, races, etc. It seems society is just nervous of getting a “beating” so to speak for not acknowledging the diverse crowds, when it can be done in a more equal manner.

  • Disney Kid

In a sense I do agree. I find that they are shoving it down our throats. Callie and Arizona is enough, but have 1 out of every 3-4 guest couples homosexual is definitely pushing it. Especially this being a ‘family themed’ station.

  • DisneyKid

HiWay- I believe it wasn’t so much as your stance on the issue but rather- your tone.
but from me to you – Two Thumbs up- WAY UP!

God is against homosexuality…..he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of this sins….whether you folks wants to hear it or not…the truth is homosexuality is from the devil and every single person who practice it will rot in hell…if he or she does not repent, the word of God stated clearly says therefore a man shall leave his mother and father and find him self a wife…and same word says he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtained favor from the lord.

i love the show but cant stand callie and arizona…i keep praying for them to break up because it is a false life..
