Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Kevin McKidd Interview

In an interview with TV Guide, Kevin McKidd reveals whether or not Owen and Cristina will make it or whether the new additions, Teddy and Jackson, will tear them apart.

On the relationship between Owen and Teddy...

McKidd describes the relationship between the two as a bond that forms from being in a very "intense environment" together, adding that "level of bond because they've seen each other in life and death situations on a daily basis, and that adds some real intensity and some real heat to this whole thing."

On how the Jackson-Cristina kiss is going to affect Owen and Cristina...

It seems that Owen won't be finding out about the kiss and that the kiss probably won't be coming up again. In the event in which Owen may find out about the kiss, McKidd doesn't think that a retaliatory kiss with Teddy would happen because Owen's a "pretty standup guy and a straight shooter in that sense."

On how Teddy revealing her feelings will affect the Teddy-Owen-Cristina triangle...

"What's going to be interesting is that Cristina obviously has bonded very quickly with Teddy, there's already a very strong bond between Teddy and Owen, and obviously Cristina and Owen are bonded and in love," McKidd explains.

He also reveals that the triangle is "a very adult situation" and that "we're going to see people in ways that we don't expect and it's going to bring up things that we didn't see coming." McKidd goes on to explain that the three are "very passionate about each other" and that they're "in this strange clench that all three of them don't want to get out of."

On whether or not Owen and Cristina can weather this storm...

While McKidd didn't give a definitive answer one way or another, he hopes and thinks that they will because the two have a "a great, deep connection with each other" that formed from being "thrown together in such an intense way."
