'Grey's Anatomy' A Slum Dunk For Season 10

GREYS-ANATOMY_510x317For nine years, Grey's Anatomy has surpassed multiple tragedies, heartbreaks and deaths. But can the medical drama survive the chopping block of the ABC network and get a season 10?

So far this season, the show has been performing strong each week under the ratings board. The season nine premiere posted a 4.4 rating in the 18-49 demo where 11.73 million viewers tuned-in. The most recent aired episode drew 8.75 million total viewers with a 3.1 in ratings on the same demo.

Undoubtedly, Grey's Anatomy is a slum dunk for a season 10 renewal.

Last year, reports have confirmed that Grey's Anatomy lead stars -- Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr. have already inked an extension of their contracts for two more years with the network.

Are you happy that Grey's Anatomy will be renewed?
