We diehard Gleeks are no strangers to Oxygen’s new Glee talent search reality series, The Glee Project. Last summer during the show’s freshman season, we got to watch some of the too cutest, too serious, and too talented young aspiring singers and actors sweat under the gaze of Ryan Murphy and company as they competed for a shot at their Glee debut. This summer, The Glee Project fun starts all over again.

Oxygen has just announced the hit series’ renewal for a second season, to coincide with Glee‘s fourth season to air later this fall. Even though its first season ended in a shocking double-winner in Damian McGinty and Sam Larsen (along with two runner-ups, Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell), season 2 promises to be even bigger and even better, as detailed by E! Online:

The Glee spinoff, which searches for the next multi-episode guest star on the Fox hit, is already casting after thousands of online auditions and a multi-city casting tour. This season will have 14 final contenders instead of 12, new themes and all new songs. Glee creator Ryan Murphy will return as a judge, along with producer Dante Di Loreto, choreographer Zach Woodlee and vocal coach Nikki Anders.
