Even though it may seem like the Glee world should be falling apart after the passing of Cory Monteith, that’s been anything but the case. The cast and crew has assured us that they’re taking the saying, “the show must go on” seriously as they start filming for season 5. But now we’re hearing that the show may not “go on” past season 6.
FOX President Kevin Reilly has confirmed that Glee is likely to end after wrapping its upcoming seasons 5 and 6, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
Glee will likely end its run after season 6 — the final year in the drama’s current deal on Fox. “I would not anticipate it goes beyond two more seasons,” Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly told reporters on Thursday. “Never say never, but there’s two very clear [story] arcs to get to that end and conclude. If we discover a new crop of kids and there’s some breakout we like … [but] right now, we’re thinking two seasons.”

FOX announced back in April an early renewal for Glee, picking up the show for not just season 5 but also season 6. Do you think it would be a fitting time and place for the show to end, or do you think Glee should continue into further seasons?
