So other than Chris Colfer (Kurt) campaigning to get Julie Andrews on the show as his grandmother (talk about wanting it and going for it), there's some other very cool Glee scoop going around. Check out the latest:
- There's news of the fabulous and footloose Harry Shum, Jr. getting cast as a series regular next season (3) as "Other Asian" Mike Chang (YES!). Could this mean they're planning on going longer with the Mike-and-Tina thing? If so, Artie better figure out his next gameplan.
- Jayma Mays (Emma) teased that something "shocking" will be coming up for her character. "There's definitely going to be some shocking episodes soon for my character. Shocking."
- The post-Super Bowl episode is not going to be that rumored Michael Jackson-or-Bruce-Springsteen tribute episode, BUT - there will be some Michael Jackson (along with a fitting sporting theme, the plot centering around football championships and cheerleading regionals). There's going to be a mash-up of "Thriller" and one yet-to-be-chosen song, and it's going to be performed on the football field. Trying to outdo "Single Ladies", are we guys? It's said that other artists to be featured in the episode are The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, and Katy Perry. (More Katy Perry!?)
