Glee has already been renewed for a season 6 - back when FOX picked up the series for its fifth and sixth seasons. Not long after, FOX announced that it was likely the show would end after season 6, and that Ryan Murphy & Co. were leaning toward making Glee's sixth and final season completely centered around the storylines in New York - abandoning McKinley in Lima, Ohio for good.
Now E! Online confirms that Glee will definitely be moving completely to New York for its sixth and final season - and which characters the show will be taking with it.
Fox extended Glee's run last April when they announced that the musical comedy had been renewed for a fifth and sixth season. Recently, new details have emerged about the direction of the series' sixth and final season. Following season five's midseason graduation, many of the characters will be transitioning to an all-NYC storyline and season six will only focus on those living in the Big Apple. So far we know that Blaine (Darren Criss), Artie (Kevin McHale) and Sue (Jane Lynch) will be making the big move from Lima to New York.
What do you think about Glee's definitive move to New York - and about the series ending after six seasons?
