As if there wasn't enough sadness to go around writing off Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) this season on Glee, Jayma Mays (Emma) has confirmed to E! Online that - albeit for different reasons (Jayma now stars on The Millers) - the show will also be writing off McKinley guidance counselor, Emma Pillsbury sometime between seasons 5 and 6.
[Jayma] confirmed her exit with us while we were visiting the set of The Millers. "This will be my last season on Glee. I'm doing a couple episodes and then we're finishing it up," she reveals. "I don't know what they're going to go with the character. Ryan Murphy is the mastermind over there and I'm sure he has amazing ideas. But they haven't told me yet."
With Matthew Morrison's Will Scheuster so recently (and happily) married to Emma, do you think Glee boss, Ryan Murphy will just keep it simple and provide a reason for Emma to quit her job at McKinley, so that she and Will can live happily ever after? Or do you think the Glee writers will actually find a way to take Emma away from Lima?
