Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) might be living it up with her new life in New York, but what about Kurt? When last we left Chris Colfer’s character, Kurt hadn’t been accepted into NYADA. But as we’ve seen via Lea Michele’s Facebook and some on-set photos, Kurt does indeed make it to New York. But what will he be doing? As Chris Colfer puts it:
“I’d always imagined [Kurt] in the fashion world, for some reason, and I’d always pictured him in his 40s being the editor of Curtain magazine, a magazine that combined performing arts and fashion. I don’t know. I really don’t know exactly where he’s going.”
TV Guide confirms the news that Kurt’s new venture in New York will be as part of the world of fashion, and that in episode 3 of season 4, he’ll meet an “eccentric” editor at Vogue. Kurt will also be meeting Sarah Jessica Parker’s character – a.k.a his new boss.
So, Kurt’s in New York, leaving Blaine at McKinley. Nice, huh? A guy goes and transfers schools for you….
Check out the scoop on Klaine, plus a couple other Glee spoilers, right here:
- Mike Chang will be “popping in and seeing how the new McKinley High kids are doing,” says Harry Shum, Jr. Or is that code for “seeing how Tina” is doing?
- Sources can’t confirm whether Kurt and Blaine will actually break up or not, but they are headed for a rocky road (and not of the edible, frozen variety). Co-creator and writer, Brad Falchuk talks a little bit about Kurt’s new life and what that might mean for Blaine:
“Kurt finds new things that excite him. The minutia of high school life is not quite as compelling to him, and that’s hard for Blaine. He can’t lean on Kurt the way he would have the year before. And I think it’s also strange for Blaine to be in this school that he came to really only for Kurt. He didn’t come because he wanted to go into public high school. So now he has to find his place [at McKinley] not as Kurt’s boyfriend.”
