Yesterday Glee creator and head writer, Ryan Murphy tweeted this on-set photo that looks kind of like a food fight...but with paint. A paint fight?
The only puzzling thing about it, is the new face in the photo. Okay, so we can't see his face. But as Wetpaint Entertainment pointed out, it sure doesn't look like Kurt (Chris Colfer), Finn (Cory Monteith), newbie Ryder (Blake Jenner), or even new "evil" Warbler leader, Hunter (Nolan Gerard Funk) but it could be another new character coming to McKinley soon - the military transfer student, Peter Livingston set to appear in season 4 episode 7, "Dynamic Duets".
It would make sense, considering the cast and crew just finished filming episode 6 of season 4, "Glease" - Glee's tribute episode to the musical, Grease - which means episode 7 is right around where filming should be at now, right?
Who do you think that blue-and-white striped dude could be?
Meanwhile, we have another kind of Glee mystery on our hands. Are Sam and Brittany going to hook up or what? Chord Overstreet (Sam) seems to think it's a possibility.
"We'll see. There's a bunch of different love triangles going on this year. There's a lot of interesting stuff so maybe," he tells [E! Online]. "It depends on if her and Santana are still together. We don't know yet."
As much as we love 'em, we've been wanting Ryan Murphy & Co. to go a little lighter on the random musical numbers and love triangles and focus more on, you guessed it, character development. And according to Alex Newell (The Glee Project), character development is what we're going to get. Well that, and "sassafras".
Here's what Alex had to say about what's coming up for his character, Wade "Unique" Adams, in his exclusive Wetpaint interview:
"I keep saying it, lots of sassafras, sassafras everywhere. I love sassafras so much. And you see Unique as a person, actual character development, and I die for it. I literally just die for it."
What do you think about these new love triangles, new characters, and new developments? Talk about all that, and the upcoming paint fight, in the comments!
