With Glee going through some changes, it’s tough to know what to expect out of season 4. But you can rest easy and breathe a little sigh of relief because Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams) has read scripts for the first couple episodes back, and he assures us that while it is different – it’s still the same old Glee.
“I was happy that it was different, but it’s not. It was a really nice change. It’s refreshing because it’s a completely different dynamic in the choir room. It’s nice that we all kind of get to have our thing and everybody is fighting to see who is going to be the leader.”
So, will there be any new faces joining this new dynamic in the McKinley choir room? We know of at least one so far – Puck’s younger brother, Jake Puckerman. Jacob Artist (Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, Melissa & Joey) has already been cast to play Jake – and Jake’s not just Puck’s brother, he’s his half-brother.
“Back at McKinley, Jake Puckerman (Artist) the younger half-brother of resident bad boy Puck (Mark Salling) tries out for the glee club, but his attitude could derail his audition.”
Hey wait a sec…while we’re on the subject of new dynamics in the choir room, what about Glee Project season 1 co-winner Damian McGinty? Haven’t you heard? Damian (Rory Flanagan) won’t be returning to Glee in season 4, as announced at Comic-Con and according to Wetpaint Entertainment. While we loved him and all, he just didn’t pan out the way Glee thought he would, we guess. Although it’s being said that fellow Glee Project contestant and winner Samuel Larsen will return as Joe Hart again this season.
Do you think Puck (Mark Salling) will be interacting with half-bro Jake at some point, or is it more likely we’ll be seeing him mostly as some new blood for New Directions?
