We may not be seeing Kurt and Rachel at McKinley for Thanksgiving, but they’ll definitely be visiting their old stomping grounds soon. They’ll come to see New Directions’ performance of Grease, since Finn (Cory Monteith) is directing and Blaine (Darren Criss) is in the show.
So what’s going to go down with Finchel and Klaine during this short reunion, since the breakup? Lea Michele (Rachel) is here to tell us.
“It definitely isn’t simple; it’s filled with a lot of weird emotions as all breakups are. It is important for people to also see Rachel independent and single.”
Lea also says that Kurt and Rachel will turn to each other during this strange, new emotional time for them.
“We go into it where Rachel is the rock for Kurt and then it switches and Kurt becomes the rock for Rachel. I love Kurt and Rachel, they’re the Laverne and Shirley of this generation. If I can’t be with Finn, then I’m happy to have my new partner in crime.”
I’ve been loving Kurt and Rachel scenes since Defying Gravity, how ’bout you guys? It’s especially fun to have seen their relationship evolve from diva rivals to great friends.
Share your enthusiasm for Kurt and Rachel, and thoughts on the Finchel-Klaine “Glease” reunion, in the comments!
