Glee Season 4 Spoiler: Blaine Cheated on Kurt with "Eli", Will We See Him on the Show?

Updated Spoilers! We may not know the exact nature of Blaine's transgression with Kurt in "The Break-Up", but Darren Criss told TVLine that he has his own theory about not only Blaine cheating on Kurt, but about where he possibly sees their relationship going in the future:

“It’s very open-ended,” [Darren] concedes. “We don’t know who this person is or what this decision was...I would love to see [Blaine and Kurt] be a part of each other’s future relationships…. If Kurt meets someone new and they are having some problems, I hope Blaine is the person that Kurt calls and says, ‘This is really tough for me.’ And vice-versa. If Blaine meets somebody, he goes to Kurt. That happens in real life with all kinds of relationships. You create a bond with somebody and regardless of what happens, in the end the bond is there for the rest of your life. And I think that’s an excellent message to show young people: The end doesn’t mean it’s the end. It’s just a new chapter.”

Michael Ausiello covered the Glee "Break-Up" episode in his latest spoiler scoop on TVLine and exposed this question that just begs to be answered - who exactly was this guy that Blaine (Darren Criss) cheated on Kurt (Chris Colfer) with...and is there a possibility of seeing him in future episodes?

As Michael pointed out, we know for sure it's not evil Blaine-stealing Warbler, Sebastian Smythe (played by Grant Gustin)...and via Blaine's texts to this mystery man in the episode, we could see that his name is "Eli".

As Entertainment Weekly reports in their article here, Glee currently does not have plans to cast for the role of Eli, at least not right away (but EW writer, Tim Stack is sure having a lot of fun brainstorming who could play him - and who wouldn't, right?).

Now, EW has learned that are no immediate plans to introduce Eli in the coming episodes. But we figure why not brainstorm who should play this troublemaker? It may be that I’ve seen too many Pitch Perfect trailers as of late, but I think Skylar Astin, who plays Anna Kendrick’s love interest in the acapella flick, might be a good choice. He’s cute and he can sing. Plus, he’s a Spring Awakening alum and would reunite him with his former castmates Lea Michele, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Jonathan Groff.

Although according to Ausiello, Glee will delve into the issue of who Blaine cheated on Kurt with at some point in the near future.

"Kurt begged [Blaine] to tell him, and Blaine wouldn't cough up a name. I understand that will be addressed later in the season. The 'who' of it all."

How soon do you think Glee will address the cheating, and will we get to see this Eli in person? (How about Sebastian? Now that Kurt's gone, think Glee should bring Grant Gustin back to throw him into the mix, too?)
