I know, I’m way psyched too. When it comes to Glee relationships, I’m as crazy for Brittany-and-Santana as all those avid Finchel shippers. And now, thanks to the spoiler-ific Kristin Dos Santos of Watch with Kristin, we have a definitive answer on whether or not Brittana will actually be happening this season – yes!
“According to my source, Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) are ‘officially a couple as of episode four.’”
Sweet. But you probably never would have guessed who’s behind this match made in the McKinley halls. One word: Leprechaun. According to Kristin’s Glee source, Damian McGinty (The Glee Project) will not only be wowing us with his debut performance, he will also be acting as a Brittana catalyst, of sorts:
“And Brittana fans will be thanking their Lucky Charms that [Damian's character] came around, because his arrival leads to what you guys have been waiting for.”
Hint: a Brittany and Santana hook-up. Damian McGinty will make his first appearance in episode 4, “Pot O’ Gold” (can you say awesome episode title?) as Rory, an Irish exchange student living with Brittany’s family. This arc is expected to go down between episodes 4 and 6 – during which we’ll also be treated to some amazing scenes between Naya Rivera’s Santana and Cory Monteith’s Finn:
“I’m also told that Finn (Cory Monteith) will get into the mix when Santana tries to hide her relationship with Brittany. He’ll call her out on her hypocrisy and forces her to deal with it. Word is, these Naya-Cory scenes are fantastic.”
Super sweet. I don’t know what to look forward to more – Brittana, more Finn-isms, or Damian McGinty. Episodes 4 through 6 are sounding more and more awesome by the minute. Though apparently there’s a short hiatus coming up? (NO…!!). Glee will resume new episodes (starting with “Pot O’ Gold”) Tuesday, November 1.
What (or who) are you most looking forward to within the next couple of Glee episodes?
