When Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) returns in tonight's new Glee, "Hold On to 16", the start of his storyline will involve Sam going after Mercedes, yep - but also going after something else slightly less human (but no less womanly, as I'm sure the McKinley jocks will be pointing out):
"[He's] trying to get a letterman jacket," Overstreet says. "He's trying to get into some sport somehow, but there is a twist to the swimming. It's a synchronized swimming team."
Does this twist involve Sam not knowing the swim team is synchronized...? One can hope for such Glee hilarity, but either way, you can bet seeing Chord/Sam in a Speedo will make any storyline worth it.
You know what else will be worth it? Waiting a whole half a season for any big artist tribute episode. It's been leaked that in the second half of season 3, Glee's going to pay tribute and prove they've got more than just the beat - they've got the Beatles! (Ryan Murphy, you should know by now that you can keep nothing secret.)
What'cha think? Will Glee's Beatles tribute episode be as epic as it sounds? We've already heard New Directions pull off their rendition of "Hello, Goodbye", what other Beatles hits do you hope to hear in this tribute episode-to-come?
