Probably not anytime soon, as executive producer Brad Falchuk (and others) have confirmed, but creator Ryan Murphy has expressed a definite interest in the two icons, George Michael and Prince, possibly coming on the show (in addition to The Beatles, of course, who'd turn them down?). As he told E! Online:
"I want to do something on Prince. I love Prince. I think he is just a genius, and I would love to feature him and his music on the show. Everything about him is dreamy and fantastic, and more than that, he meant a great deal to my life growing up. So I'm saying, 'Prince, help me out.'...I don't think George Michael will be on per se, but I'm a huge fan of George Michael and I love his music...so we are gonna do something with George Michael's music."
I love it. Ryan gets excited and the whole Glee fandom starts thinking, GUEST STARS! Ha. Poor guy. Hey, he deserves to dream. We do too - anyone else up for these guys in future tribute episodes? (And if not, who do you want to see?)
