New Character Role on Glee: Matt Lucas to Play Musical-Obsessed Teacher

It’s been confirmed recently that Matt Lucas (Little Britain, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland) is set to play a new character on Glee - a teacher at (McKinley High, I’m guessing?) who’s secretly obsessed with musicals. Keyword is “secretly”:

The funnyman will show off his song and dance skills as a high school teacher with a hidden love for Broadway, with plans for him to perform a solo track on the series.

Personally, I can’t wait to see that. As long as he doesn’t go all April on us.

    Why would they add a new teacher? I hope Will isnt being replaced- i would SCREAM! I wonder what importance he would have to the show-

    @Amy and Ricky – Almost, ha. I started out with just Glee, then it slowly escalated into more. Aside from Secret Life, I’m doing mostly new comedies. And nah, they’re not replacing Will, just adding another teacher character to the mix, I think. Unless it’s all a plot on Sue’s part to take Will’s job, hahaha.

    And, @JOurney – Thanks for the heads-up! I actually just found out about John Stamos today – so excited! I’ll be sure to post that soon.
