So what's there to cry about? Oh wait, graduation. The Glee word is that the cast had a wee bit of trouble holding down the waterworks for the season finale (which can only mean Chris Colfer must have been majorly dehydrated that day). Hey, if you were graduating from McKinley High, you'd be crying too. But according to E! Online, these scenes may not all be goodbye-related. What other tearjerker scenes do you think the season 3 finale has in store for us?
Graduation may be looming, but another thing looming is season 4 and all its awesome possibilities that we've been hearing about. What may not be so awesome though, is the possibility of Mercedes' Amber Riley leaving Glee for good, as Amber hinted in a recent tweet via Twitter:
"That's a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday! I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL'S OUT Glee Kids! Let's play!"
Before we freak out at the idea of Glee getting by with one less diva (don't worry, there's probably more where Rachel Berry came from), it's being said that Amber may not have meant "for good" because Amber herself may not yet know whether Mercedes will be one of the graduating seniors sticking around next season or not. She went on to tweet:
"Stay tuned to see what's next for Mercedes ;)"
Ah. Yes. That would make more sense. While both Amber's rep and FOX had "no comment" according to E! Online and Entertainment Weekly, it may not necessarily mean we'll be seeing the last of Mercedes. But as Damian McGinty (Rory) put into perspective for us here and here:
"I've learned to expect nothing, and appreciate everything. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I've had the past year to work with such amazing people. Every single one of the cast and crew. Very blessed."
So Mercedes fans, really appreciate these last few season 3 episodes because you never know.
What do you think? Will Ryan & co. find a way to incorporate Mercedes somewhere into the new season 4 storylines?
