Fear the Walking Dead is ramping up its fourth season with the introduction of Lennie James' character, Morgan, from its parent show The Walking Dead.
How excited should we be for the show's new season?
Check out the latest tease from EP Robert Kirkman and James himself below!
It’s going to be a lot of really great stuff for Lennie James to do.
Lennie James’ presence with that established cast in Fear the Walking Dead is going to change everything for them, and give them so much more new stuff to play off of, and really change the story in an interesting way that I feel like is going to kick start that show, and really get the engines roaring on that one.
I can safely say that, in a weird way, it is both a continuation of that battle that Morgan's having with himself and with the people around him, and it is still part of his journey to finding some kind of inner peace—but it's not necessarily told in a straight line.
The journey we're gonna see Morgan on expands his character, but is still part of that battle that he's having—with himself and the world around him and trying to figure out how best he can continue with the punishment that he's been given, which is to keep living.
In addition to Morgan crossing over to Fear, Kirkman also teased that season 4 will deliver big changes that "will shake things up" story-wise.
He told EW:
I don’t want to spoil anything story-wise, but we are changing things a great deal. It’s going to be a much different show that is not going to alienate any viewers that have been enjoying the show from season 1 to 3, but will give those people new things to love, and new characters to latch onto. It’s really going to shake things up.
FTWD season 4 premieres April 15 on AMC.
