Desperate Housewives Season 7 Spoilers: Mystery Stars?

Wicked Local is reporting that Desperate Housewives on ABC is currently casting for two characters:

Althea: A smart, sophisticated African-American woman in her early 30s who left her restaurant business in Chicago to return to her roots and family on Wisteria Lane.

They are also casting for an:

African-American woman in her mid 50s to portray Althea’s mother.

    So, if you rmember the Applewhites were from Chicago too. I wonder if there’s any relation between Althea and them?

    I doubt it, but it’s a pretty big coincidence that our only 2 African American families on the block have been from the same place…

    I just read on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desperate_Housewives_(season_7) that Vanessa Williams is to play a new character in the next season and will have a connection to Paul. Supposedly she will be a regular character. The Applewhites will probably never come back!!! all the new neighbors that leave under strange circumstances never return…unless they were lead roles. i dont think the applewhites fall under that category.

    Ok here is what should happen. I thought of this before I heard all the hullabullu with Nicolette and Mr. Cherry. Remember how Jeannie and Samantha had evil twin sisters, not that Edie Brit was a angel, but I think they should get over their issues, and hire her back to play her raven haired evil twin, she can move into the same house and cause trouble for everyone who ever gave Edie a hassle. Im still upset that they killed off Carl, I loved his character. I think the eviler then Edie twin thing would be cool. they have awesome writers and they could make it believable. She did have a nephew, remember he’s the daddy of danielle’s baby! And we never did actually see what her sister looked like, so why not make her dark haired and evil to the core, and make Edie look like Mother Theresa. WOOO HOO
