Desperate Housewives: Extended for Two More Seasons!

Marc Cherry, creator of ABC's Desperate Housewives, recently signed a new deal which will keep the show running up to 2013 for the eight and ninth season. Cherry will remain as executive producer of the show as part of his two-year extension with ABC. Bob Daily, considered as Cherry's top "Housewives" lieutenant,  also signed the two-year extension contract.

But the show's principal cast members are committed until the seventh season (2010-2011) only and it now depends on them if the show continues to run for another round of whooping two more seasons.
