The CW Network is playing the fall 2012 TV series competition to a whole new level. With several new shows to introduce this fall, the network is bringing in their A-game in terms of promotional advertisements.
On a recent article shared by mashable.com, we have learned that a very innovative, out-of-the-box advertising strategy has made possible by the CW. On October 5th, a limited number of publication from EW printed magazines will feature a special spread intended for the CW Network latest series — Emily Owens M.D, Arrow and others. (Hang on, here comes the part where it gets awesome.)
The CW breaks the wall from the trivial ad promotions we see everyday by ‘actually’ inserting a smartphone inside a printed magazine. That’s correct, on October 5th prepare your senses for a heightened, digital ad-work from the CW. (Watch the video below and see!)
Moreover, the digital advertising technology centering on the new shows will serve two purposes: first, to play a sneak peek/promo clip of the shows and secondly, a live tweet from the CW will appear next to the video snippets.
