The new thriller-series ‘Cult’ has been moved to Fridays by the CW. Encore episodes of other CW series will take over — beginning with Beauty and the Beast on March 5th.

The all-new Friday 9pm berth of Cult will start airing on March 8.

Cult follows investigative journalist Jeff Sefton (Matt Davis) searches for his missing brother and uncovers the dark underworld of the TV show “Cult” and its rabid fans. The series also stars Jessica Lucas as Skye Yarrow, Alona Tal as Kelly Collins and Robert Knepper as Billy Grimm.

I am a Alona Tal and Matt Davis fan and I was hoping for the best from Cult but I am really having a hard time with this show. The whole show-within-a-show thing is confusing and it doesn’t really grab me. The Billy Grimm character is creepy in a way that I just don’t like at all. The groupies are just another element that is confusing and evil and still isn’t grabbing my interest. I can’t really put into words all my feelings about this show. I just wish it had lived up to my expectations.
