Guest Star Spoilers: Mom (and Sorta-Dad) For Laurie

We were hoping Smith would be back. Now it sounds as if Laurie’s (Busy Philipps) charming boyfriend (Ryan Devlin) might be back sooner rather than later (right in time for Valentine’s Day! Aw, how sweet). It’s been confirmed that (SPOILER DRUMROLL…) Barry Bostwick (Spin City) has been cast as Smith’s dad in the Cougar Town episode set to air February 1o.

That’s not all that’s slammin’ for Laurie. News has it that they got (SPOILER DRUMROLL 2…) National Lampoon’s Beverly D’Angelo to play the role of Laurie’s dear, sweet mom – also likely to air in February. Coincidence? I think not. Sounds to me as if “Mommy” and “Daddy” will be appearing in the Valentine’s episode together. Wonder what this means for Laurie…and for Smith…on Valentine’s Day. Hmm….
